| Farm visits are always welcome. The true beauty and joy of alpacas cannot be fully realized until you have an up close and personal visit with these gentle creatures. Please give us a call or an email letting us know when you'd like to visit. We are located near the Delaware-Maryland border in southeastern Pennsylvania. We're 30 minutes from Wilmington, DE; 1 hour from Philadelphia, PA; 5 hours from Pittsburgh, PA; 2 1/2 hrs from New York City; and 2 1/2 hours from Washington, D.C.
PLEASE NOTE: We share a driveway with 156 Lloyd Road, and our house isn't visible from the road. Continue up the driveway past our neighbor's house, and you will see our barn.
From the south: From I-95 North, take MD Exit 93 - Perryville/Port Deposit. This is the first exit after the Susquehanna River Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right, which will put you onto MD Route 275. Continue approximately 3 miles until the road ends; take a right onto MD Route 276. Follow this for 5.6 miles until you reach US Route 1. Go right, putting you on Route 1 North. Continue 17.9 miles to the PA Route 841 West Grove exit. Take a left at the stop sign, putting you on Route 841 North (also called Chatham Road). Go 1.5 miles and take a left onto Lloyd Road. Proceed .4 mile to our driveway, which is on the left-hand side of the road, opposite our mailbox.
From the east: (NJ or extreme Eastern PA): Take I-95 South into Delaware. Exit onto DE Route 7 North, which will take you into Pennsylvania. Be aware that Route 7 North takes a sharp left turn along the way. Turn left onto PA Route 41 North and go approximately 6.7 miles. Turn left onto Route 841 South and proceed .4 mile to Lloyd Road and turn right. Go .4 mile to our driveway, which is on the left-hand side of the road, opposite our mailbox.
From the west: From the Lancaster area, use US Route 30 East, then exit onto PA Route 41 South. Continue approximately 14.8 miles until you reach the village of Chatham. Turn right onto PA Route 841 South. Proceed .4 mile to Lloyd Road and turn right. Go .4 mile to our driveway, which is on the left-hand side of the road, opposite our mailbox.
From the north: From Route 202 South, take US Route 1 South. Continue for 14. 1 miles and take the PA Route 41 Avondale/Chatham exit. Take a right at the end of the exit ramp, putting you on Route 41 North. Go 1.3 miles to the village of Chatham and turn left onto Route 841 South. Proceed .4 mile to Lloyd Road; turn right. Go .4 mile to our driveway, which is on the left-hand side of the road, opposite our mailbox. |
